Latino adults are at high risk for heart disease and heart failure. The Maritime-CV and Maritime-HF studies are looking to see if an investigational medicine can safely:

Reduce symptoms and the risk of hospitalization and death in people with heart failure.

Reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, heart failure, and death in people with heart
disease.

Maritime-CV:

Are you 45 years of age or older?

Do you have a history of heart attack,
stroke, or peripheral artery disease? -
Do you have obesity or excess weight?
Maritime-HF:

Are you 18 years of age or older?

Do you have heart failure?

Do you have obesity?
